EARLY BIRD SPECIAL UNTIL MONDAY 31 JULY: $32 for tickets purchased before 31 July (normal price $39)
In an addition to their highly successful “World Tour of New Zealand”, Gray Bartlett and Brendan Dugan will be providing Spring Sunday afternoon entertainment at Kauaeranga Hall.
40 years ago Brendan Dugan won a televised music contest. Since then he's been honoured as the New Zealand Entertainer of the Year, and New Zealand Variety Artists Club presented him with a Scroll of Honour. The velvety rich baritone of Brendan Dugan has a quality that makes him instantly recognisable. Most singers can't even think of the low notes he can reach.
Brendan is one of New Zealand's best known country music artists and is teaming up with Gray Bartlett undoubtedly one of New Zealand’s top ranked guitarists, and one of New Zealand's biggest selling artists of the last 50 years. Gray Bartlett has been picking his way to success for over 35 years. With 30 Albums and 20 singles, Gray has sold well in excess of a million copies of his music.
With so much achieved by Gray in his long musical career, one of his greatest highlights was being awarded an MBE in the 1987 Queen's New Year’s Honours list, for this services to entertainment.
The teaming up of these two may just be the best way to celebrate the beginning of Sparing and to spend a leisurely Sunday afternoon.
